Marie Griffin received her Master of Fine Art Photography from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2004 and a Bachelors of Arts degree from Cornell College in 2001. Upon completing her education she worked in the arts community in Chicago, IL., Rochester, NY., and Denver, CO where she currently resides.

She also taught photography courses at Rochester Institute of Technology and Metropolitan State College of Denver. She currently works at Rocky Mountain News as Photographer, Assistant Features Photo Editor and Imaging Specialist.

Photography and digital imaging processes propel her work and vision on a daily basis. She finds compelling ways to fuel her vision in various subjects to follow her personal approach that nothing can be seen the same way twice.
